What do you do?
I visit nurseries and pre-schools to deliver drama and imaginative play sessions. Think pretend play, with no props or costumes! At Pyjama Drama, we believe children's imaginations are the best special effects there are! By tapping into the power of imagination, children can be anyone, go anywhere, and do anything, all while learning heaps in a safe and secure environment. And because the children regularly lead the direction of the drama, no two classes are ever the same!
Tell us your 'why...'
I have a degree in Drama and desperately wanted to do something I loved again but that also worked for my young family. I firmly believe that drama teaches so much more than performance. It teaches valuable life skills. That's when I found Pyjama Drama! The companies values and ethos perfectly matched mine and I knew I had found something really special. I love being able to share the magic of Pyjama Drama with your little ones.
My favourite thing is...
watching the children get immersed in the drama, seeing their confidence grow and showing kindness and empathy to their friends. This is the most heartwarming job and we have so much fun!
Tell us one thing people don’t know about you or your business?
We have 100’s of sessions! Our rolling programme works in line with the national curriculum with special sessions ranging from starting school, road safety to seasonal topics.
